Choose a table and sit with colleagues to discuss the topic, your interest or research, and find some emergent themes together.
Select a facilitator to help manage the conversation and a recorder to take notes of the highlights from the conversation. Be prepared to share:
- ONE Key Insight
- ONE Question that has emerged from your time together
- ONE Possible symposium title (if you were to host a future event in your topic area)
We will ask you to wrap up your discussion and present your INSIGHT, QUESTION, and SYMPOSIUM TITLE at approx. 10:45am. You’ll have 1-2 minutes to present your findings as a group.
FOUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES
-
Whoever comes are the right people.
-
Whatever happens is the only thing that could have.
-
Whenever it starts is the right time.
-
When it’s over, it’s over.
ONE LAW: THE LAW OF TWO FEET
If you find yourself in a situation where you are neither learning nor contributing, you use your two feet and go to some more productive place.
